My Mom Put the Maloik on the Salesman from Sears

she
pulled

chicken
bones

from

her
purse

You Made Me Hungry for Papadams at 6 AM

the spider biting its prey
adorns
it in silk

for the feast

watches
it die

vomiting on the prey
then

the chelicerae

puke
macerated

with

a
soupy
flesh

leaving

small
balls

of
bones

and

the
prey

dreaming

its
in

love
